Have you been to Canberra yet? You should come...and then go away again. For it is a lovely city, but I am afraid that it is getting too big.
Presumably, most of you have not heard of Canberra (which suits me fine, given what is said above), but you should have the opportunity of visiting what cities were meant to be like.....accessible, clean, tree-festooned areas, friendly living spaces, not black highway snakes (credit here to Don McLean) full of people who don't know each other.
